چکیده

Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) supports greater data rate and higher reliability in wireless communication. MIMO technique uses the multiple antennas to achieve high transmission rate. The receiver end of the MIMO consists of linear and non-linear decoding techniques. In this paper we are discussing about the linear and non-linear decoding techniques used at the receiver. Zero forcing (ZF), Minimum mean Square error (MMSE), Maximum likelihood (ML), Sphere decoding (SD) are the methods used in wireless communication for reducing the complexity at the receiver.

Linear and Dirty-Paper Techniques for the Multi-User MIMO Downlink

Multi-input, multi-output (MIMO) communications systems have attracted considerable attention over the past decade, mostly for single-user, point-to-point scenarios. The multipleuser MIMO case has attracted less attention, and most of the research on this problem has focused on uplink communications. Only recently has the multi-user MIMO downlink been addressed, beginning with information-theor...

Flexible Widely-Linear Multi-Branch Decision Feedback Detection Algorithms for Massive MIMO Systems

This paper presents widely-linear multi-branch decision feedback detection techniques for large-scale multiuser multiple-antenna systems. We consider a scenario with impairments in the radio-frequency chain in which the in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) components exhibit an imbalance, which degrades the receiver performance and originates non-circular signals. A widely-linear multi-branch decisi...

SECURING INTERPRETABILITY OF FUZZY MODELS FOR MODELING NONLINEAR MIMO SYSTEMS USING A HYBRID OF EVOLUTIONARY ALGORITHMS

In this study, a Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) is utilized to extract interpretable and compact fuzzy rule bases for modeling nonlinear Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) systems. In the process of non- linear system identi cation, structure selection, parameter estimation, model performance and model validation are important objectives. Furthermore, se- curing low-level and high-level ...

Soft Switching MBC Controller for MIMO Linear Hybrid Systems

Switching supervisory is the most important section of a feedback control process inMIMO hybrid systems. By choosing a non-compatible controller, system may go tounstable mode or high overshoot response. In this paper, a new method of switchingfor selecting MBC controllers is discussed. Results of the simulation show the MIMO(2-in 2-out) linear hybrid system can be switched stable and low overs...

Using Asterisms to Decode Multi-User MIMO Systems

The area of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) communications systems has received enormous attention recently as they can provide a roughly linear increase in data rate by using multiple transmit and receive antennas. MIMO combined with an Turbo coding has been shown as a promising way to achieve near capacity for wireless channels. This paper proposes applying an Asterism based decoder to ...
